Engine builders from my work has very good feedback about those rods. According to them, rod failures occur mainly on the overlap period (high rpm) when there's nothing but the 2 tiny little rod bolts to hold the rod/piston from shooting out the head. Eagle comes with very strong ARP rod bolts and they are light too. For the money, it's a good deal. However, if you have severe detonation or oiling problem, even the most expensive rods will not last.
